Hello, I’m Chloe Turner, a writer from Gloucestershire, UK. This is me, reading at a Stroud Short Stories livelit event last year.
My short stories have been published in various literary magazines and anthologies (see Biography for more details). Most recently, I was pleased to have a story published in the September 2016 edition of The Woven Tale Press, and another of my stories has been Specially Commended in The Elbow Room Prize 2016.
This blog is about writing, reading, the ups and downs of the submission process, and what I’m learning along the way.
I am currently seeking representation for my first novel, What Has Fallen From Heaven, the story of a girl in Roman Egypt whose life is overturned by the sudden onset of epilepsy, a condition which inspired reactions from fear to intrigue, awe and loathing in the ancient world.
I’m always keen to make new writing friends so please do comment, connect, and find me on Twitter @turnerpen2paper for a chat.
