Hello, I’m Chloe Turner, an author from Gloucestershire, UK. This is me reading at a Stroud Short Stories live-lit event. I live near Stroud with my family, a few chickens and lots of bees.
My short stories have been published in many literary magazines and anthologies (see Writing Page for more details). Most recently, I was delighted to be shortlisted in the Bridport Prize 2020. I have previously won the Local Prize in the Bath Short Story Award 2018 two years running, including with my story Witches Sail in Eggshells, which is also the title story in my debut collection, published June 2019. I was also thrilled to have my story ‘Waiting for the Runners’ selected for inclusion in the SALT Publishing anthology, Best British Stories 2018.
I am represented by the literary agent Emily Sweet, and I am working with her on my first novel, Blue Hawk, readying it for submission to publishers.
